No problem…it’s all fair. But, I do wonder if folks don’t think many have saved searches set up for such things. Checking them is part of my early morning ritual. I even beat Eskimo to the first bid on this one and he gets up EARLY! The ones that kill me are the listings that show up here when they have been at auction for days…or weeks even. Like I said though…all fair.

I wonder what the dots are on the back side of the grip panels Looks like grip blank stabilization, and was done before installing the escutcheons. Interesting. I bet Rob Rowen could tell you for certain.

Conversations with Rob tend to be expensive. I got to say of all the handguns I have ever seen or seen on a website that Stroh 45 Takes the Cake for me.

The green dots were probably for a one piece grip set up. They are in the right area for a Power Custom 2 piece grip frame which that might be. Big question is why are they there. Perhaps Roy started to make the grip as one piece but the customer wanted 2 piece (not everyone wants a one piece even if possible with the frame) - if Roy made it as a 2 piece though not much reason for the date to be scuffed around the locator hole. A number of other things are possible or could also be that someone other than Roy had a hand or two in there. Great looking set of grips whatever the reason though.

Makes sense. Thanks Rob!
That locator hole above the date does look to have been reworked.

It is a 2 piece grip frame… No Bisley hammer….
