Anyone out here know the difference between regular .45 acp Wilson combat magazines and their 47RR .460 Rowland magazine? Thanks

$2 dollars cheaper for the Rowland if you go by description. Title for it says aluminum base plate description says lo-pro steel?

I wonder if the interior dimensions are the same as the .45 acp version?

I am keeping a eye on this. Interested in building 460 Roland.

I've run the Rowland in a 1911, with stainless Wilson magazines
My first thought was that if there's a functional difference, it might be with the spring

I love the 460 on a 1911. I stopped by Clarks about 10 years ago and got a kit and put it on a Norinco 1911 I had. After a trigger job and replacing the factory trigger it shoots great. Unreal power in a 1911. A 185 gr at over 1500 fps and a 230 gr at over 1300 fps.

I've had my 460 Rowland for over 15 years and have always used standard 1911 magazines with no issues. I can highly recommend using the Rowland V2 recoil damper spring assembly. It utilizes a 15 lb. spring and doesn't beat your gun to death going into battery.
