Still for sale on GI….
Why would someone not get the barrel markings removed? I would have had the cylinder fluted too…

I saw that one but I had the same thoughts. Barrel billboard, cylinder “engraving” and factory panels. Curious what John actually did to the gun.

While I like the idea of it it does not seem to Warrant the price tag. If I had to guess the barrel was shortened, the rear sight was replaced, the factory grips were shaped slightly and it probably had a action job. The rest appears to be bone stock. At that price point the Freedom Arms 22 seems like a far better choice. But that's to my preference.

I have only bought one custom 22, the one David Clements built for himself but I know what he did to the gun to make it worth what I paid for it. This, not so much.

My brother sent me the link on Tuesday morning. I couldn’t figure out what was any different from stock and neither could he. Lot of extra money for a stamp??

It might be a trick of the grip contours, but that grip frame looks to have been reduced.
The grip frame fit almost makes it look like a Bisley conversion, but that seems unlikely that someone paid for the conversion abut added a Bisley roll marked cylinder. I think it falls in the normal variation for factory grip frame fit.

I'm tempted, it's a pretty close match to my 6-shot .45 and a near twin in configuration to my early 5-shot Linebaugh gun. I don't see the price they're asking, I don't think I need it that bad.
