I have a bunch of powder that I will never use. I thought about making a list and taking to the gunshop and local Rod & Gun club and see if there is any interest. Any other ideas to sell this, so it doesn't become expensive fertilizer?

Find a local forum for your State or area. We've got one for North and South Carolina that the only reason I am still a member of is for the classified section.

Got the same issue... inherted FIL's powder library, & I might just have more than he did... trouble is, to get rid of any, I'd have to do a deep dive into the loading manuals, & see which ones, I'm just am not likely to find a use for... but I also fear it becoming expensive fertilizer

Find a local forum for your State or area. We've got one for North and South Carolina that the only reason I am still a member of is for the classified section. Especially if you don't have an extensive "network" of personal acquaintances you interact with. I think shipping would create more expense and hassle than it's worth.
Most papers won't let you advertise firearms-related stuff any more. Used to be the only thing that got me to look at all the small, Podunk papers.
I'm in the same boat with a bunch of my dad's stuff. I found can with 2 ounces and 6 ounces, re-packaged 8-pounders broken down into 1# cans, etc. I'm hesitant to sell (or even use) anything not obviously still factory sealed, so some of it won't be eventually sold. There's a LOT of hand-loaded ammo to go through too, most of which is a wildcat to some degree or another - virtually no standard stuff.
We have a few really small gun shows around here in the spring and in the fall. Tables are usually $20 for two days and you get to see a few folks you've not seen since the last show, BS, insult each other, buy each other lunch from the counter from the show... I cold move this stuff at these shows, even though most people who show up just do it for the heck of it, or the weasels looking to get something for a tenth of what it cost to turn it around and make a huge markup on it.
Powder, primers, bullets,... everyone gets serious when that stuff's on the table.
Face to face is the best way - just have to find a way to make that happen.

If you guys are open to it, post the state you're in and it may create conversations for face to face meetings to offload your powder.

That's a bit far for me in NC. But I'm sure there's others close by.
