"Sounds like I need to avoid Dillon if blue is that addictive!"
Dillon blue is a bit addictive BECAUSE they are that good!

The idea behind the small primer 45 ACP loader is to not be limited by primer size availability in my 45 ACP loading.

FWIW I have multiple extra 550 tool heads. Simple head change and locator pins swap converts my 9mm 550 to 9mm Makarov... Simple head change for 38SC/38Special/357... Head change for 44/44 mag.

Hmmm... Looks like that SDB set up for 38 Short Colt needs to become a dedicated 10mm loader! Got conversion parts waiting!

Your last remark sounds like me and K frame Smiths. I'm still crunching my rounds out on an Old Rockchucker but if I were mechanically minded I'd have a Progressive. Too many moving parts for me, but I'm with a couple other guys on here, "spacing and name giving" causes the OCD meter to rise.

Not having all your eggs in one basket, so to speak. If I were shooting the 45 ACP still, Id be scrounging all the SPP-brass others toss out - for that very reason.
I have a very small lot of LPP 357 Mag brass, which I hold in reserve so that I can still shoot SOMETHING regardless of what I have left in primers. I spent a lot of years being one specialized powder, primer or bullet away from having something up and running, and trying to decide whether to feed this baby or that baby. That got old for me.

LPP 357mag brass? Never seen any. Who made it? Where can I get some? Versatility is the reason I stock piled both sizes in 45acp and 10mm. Now I find out there's 357 in both sizes too.

This is old, OLD stuff. I only have 18 of them. I could find room for a few hundred of them if I could find more. Left and right are modern SPP, Starline cases. The three down the middle are LRP Peters cases.

I'd buy a couple thousand if they made them. Probably even ream a few primer pockets for LRP just to work up some loads. Then I will be covered no matter what primer I have on hand.

I'd snag a bunch of 30 American (SRP 30/30) too if I could find them.... and afford them.
Being OCD about anything requires commitment and vigilance.
