Picked up a custom shop 6 TCU barrel for using on spring/summer rock chucks & it looks like it's going to be a good shooter. I've slowly worked up a load with Hornady 75 gr Vmax bullets & H335 powder in the last couple of days & it hasn't disappointed. It's hard to go wrong with H322, BLC2 or H335 in a 6 TCU, at least that's been my findings in the 4-5 I've had over the years. Do not use this load data without working up from 2.0 grs less. There are still a few rock chucks out & tomorrow I'm going to see if I can't punish a few big, fat ones that are really pounding the barely fields right now, they are huge! Dick

VERY NICE RIG, SUPER GROUPS.
TRAPR AND I OFTEN LAMENT THE LACK OF LITTLE CRITTER HANDGUNNING AVAILABLE IN MOST OF TEXAS.

Looks like a good one, Dick. I contemplated the 6TCU but went with the 6X6.8 instead.

Question Dick... I see "military brass." Means 556? Do you see any case capacity loss with the 556 brass?

The TCUs are often referred to as "dated." Never really understood the term outside of trying to sell something "new."
They were great in the day and remain so today.
A great rig for taking game up to deer with the right shot placement...
