My idea, to share where invasive, spread outta control, released and gone bonzo, hunting ops are. See gators being found in Kentucky now. HOGS , well faster than I can keep up. Shoot faster guys ! Actually been researching an iguana hunt in S.E. Florida for me and a nephew or 2 and maybe draft/kidnap Dougader. Ha ! So, what is the prime, big, annoying varmint where you live, and share if hunts can be put together.

To be clear, I'm not looking for invites myself. I'm about 6 layers and 3 years deep in possibles. Amongst my friends and family, I'm the INSTIGATOR. I put together the trips, make the calls, etc.. But the years are beating me up and you may not have an instigator in your life. so..trying to help, an whack varmints. Recipes always..

People use to just about pay you to hunt hogs in Oklahoma, then it's was just free now they charge you to hunt them, guessing they aren't as bad as they were here?

Here in NM we have the BEST invasive species….. oryx! Oooo, those would be nice but, Texas has free range Aoudad, Nilgai, Axis, Hogs, etc. The problem is that about 2% of all the state is public land, so it’s predominantly pay to play…….and pay can be expensive and play short. Trapr

Fire ants. There, I said it. Other than that where I live (I'm talking the immediate vicinity), it's gators and jackrabbits.

Fire ants, ouchy varmints. More a chemical warfare thing than a hunting/fishing op.. Was helping to hook up the boat trailer just after dark in Dougaders new 'hood for a night of chasing snook on Tampa Bay. Got too near to "nest" and before I knew had 3-4 on my leg all biting at the same time, it seemed. As much fun as stepping on a jelly fish on the beach while surf fishing on Assateague Island. SUCKS.

Here, there are not big enough numbers of any one varmint to invite others to come, put on a hunt. Bet more states have gone to laws like ours. The free to hunt, shoot, species gets ever smaller and a license needed to breath. Coyotes maybe the most widespread "varmint" ?

You were lucky it was so few. Had my legs literally covered before. Dove in the creek with the gators. Scared the crap out of them.
