And further feedback on that bullet. See only rifle version on website, this am, or I need more coffee.

Bula, the ammunition is called Handgun Hunter, the bullet is only available as loaded ammo for now. I hope they offer it as a reloading component at some point, it’s available in 9mm, 40sw, 10mm, 357mag, 44mag, 454C, and 460SW. The auto loads are rated for varmints, the revolver rounds are rated for medium game and except for the 357mag large game also. Accuracy from the ammo has proven to be very good, and stated velocities very close to what I got from real guns. If you need “green” ammo for hunting I highly recommend the line, as I stated when using other brands of mono bullets I’ve not been impressed with penetrative qualities. If you don’t care if your bullet exits or only shoot light boned medium game then you’re probably very happy with them. I prefer exits and shoot a lot of pigs with my handguns, sometimes not being able to choose broadside presentations. Granted I’ve taken two animals with this bullet, but both were bigger decent sized animals, 180# pig at 80ish yards, and the Aoudad at 71yards, both heavier boned than deer, both bullets exited, both bullets provided 24+ inches of penetration and both animals only covered 75ish yards after impact. I could probably build a bullet trap with water or other material and catch a bullet, but that won’t really tell you what the bullet does in flesh, bone and skin. The bullet for the 44mag I used was a 200gr. so it’s performance impressed me considering such a light weight. Velocity from my 7.5” gun averaged 1430fps, and provided consistent 2.5” accuracy at 100 yards.

I wish I was good enough to shoot a 2 1/2 inch group at 100 yards. I could possibly do it using a Ransom Rest but that isn't doable in the field and in no way admits my limits in handgunning. Well done again my friend.

Congrats Trapr. Shooting Aoudads can be addictive.

Thank you for the details. LIkely I'll be spending more time with my SBHH. The one that wears your Leopold. With the 240XTP and H110, off a bench and at 200yds, our NathanHale at the trigger does amazing things. I'll see what I can do.. Congrats , nice shooting.

TrapR,, an excellent follow-up info post.
As a handloader,, but not living where they are forcing the "no lead" bullets,, I can see the benefits of offering such bullets as a component for those who do have such stupid restrictions.

The article for the Hunt365 site, should be published in next months series, the above info is but a readers digest version. I’ve got a few others on handgun hunting on the site as well. Trapr
