A 410 GNR by Gary Reeder and his crew. Very nicely executed if you ask me. A 41 caliber bullet in a necked down 454 case should rock. Or maybe I should say, bust rocks!

Well done! Looks better blue than it did in the white! ;D IIRC this gets you the performance of a 41 GNR #2 without the expense of a long frame Ruger and 445 brass..... Looking forward to some glorius rock killing reports! You got plans for a Bowen target rear sight?

Take the gold off and it is a Reeder I could own. What is the performance you are expecting?

I like it, and you know that wasn't easy to say.

About 1600 fps with a 270 grain bullet. Thats just off the top of my head tho.....but it will be equal or better than a 414 super mag without the stretch frame.
Brass was cheap and easy from Andy Rowe.

Im tellin' ya Craig, the man has been hanging around quite a bit with Taffin and Taylor and it seems to have done him a world of good. I have a lots of good fun with his bunch of misfits. I especially admire the things he has done for some folks in need.

Andy Rowe at Cartridge Performance Engineering was EASY to work with and the brass was surprisingly CHEAP! Highly recommended! www.cartridgeperformance.com/

I hear ya Fermin. Is he still pushing the Sierra 170gr for everything in this cartridge too? I remember him saying that it was the only bullet he used in his .41's. Should make for a hell of a flat-shootin' deer rig!

No, I dont think so. He killed a buff and some other large critter with a 255 grainer I believe. I expect it will be quite effective on deer.
Reeder isnt the only one who champions the 170 Sierra in the 41's. My good friend Jim Taylor has killed a truck load with his custom "Pender" `41 magnum and he says it is VERY effective.

Looks really nice. I like how understated it is, and the grips set off nicely against the super-blue.

I've got a twin with black grips. They are really nice guns.
