I want that stainless Clements gun! Is it a Single Six? Unfortunately not both the Bowen and Clements guns are on mid frames. Single six didn't occur to me until after the fact. With the octagon barrel the Clements gun turned out a little heavier than I anticipated but not crazy heavy. I did change the grips out to a set of contoured walnut by Rob Rowen. Im lucky to have those .38 Single Sixes with another 4 1/2” blue one on the way….

I also have one of Clements' Single Six 38 Specials on the way. I believe it'll be just about right for the cartridge.
But, that Clements' 38 Special on a Flattop Midframe is over the top cool.

I shoot more .38’s than any other round lately. I’ve always loved the .357 and .38 special. If I was to have only one handgun it would be a .357!!!! .38’s for plinking and small game. .357 for protection and bigger game. The .357 would handle and deer opportunities that came up. I wouldn’t ask it to do any duties my rifle would be used for. 50 yards or less.
While I really like the 44 special too. The .38/.357 combo just meets a better all around cartridge in my opinion.

I will stir the pot a little.the .38 special is a very versatile cartridge from light target loads to 38/44 loads. I never saw all the hype with the .327 Federal? An extra round? I’ve owned a few and I’m a die hard .32 H&R fan. What can the .327 do that the .38 special can’t do better!!!! Same as the .30 super carry. What can it do that the 9mm can’t do better?

Woody, I mostly agree with that. But, also like you, I look at everything as a Handloader. For the Handloader, the 38 Special can be just as versatile as the 44 Special.
While I'm a huge fan of the 327 Federal, we may have never seen it had anything about the 32 H&R been "Magnum" except the name. However, it wasn't and the 327 Federal has proven itself as a True Magnum.
I think the 30 Super Carry will be DOA. It's a solution to a problem that doesn't exist and will only appeal to the Spray & Pray Crowd. Those who use sights will sigh, stretch, yawn and buy a 9mm...

I see the .30 Super differently. Not as a carry gun to replace the 9 mm or anything else but I would rather see it in a long barreled, semi-automatic, fully adjustable sighted Field Pistol.

On that, I agree 100%. I just don't see manufactures building much for hunters these days. I think it would be excellent in a Ruger PC Carbine. But, doubt it'll happen...

I agree totally. I don’t see it taking off as an option to a 9mm for carry. But It sure would be a nice set up in a 6” 1911 for hunting. If it’s possible on that platform.

My first thought was rename it 32 Super and chamber it in a Sig P210 Target 6"...
