Planning to modify the hammer and trigger of this Thunder Ranch Model 22.... Haven't fiddled with one with MIM parts... How do MIM parts respond to trigger rounding and polishing and bobbing the hammer spur from the hammer?

They respond just fine, I did a little bit of work on a 1911 MIM hammer and it worked just fine, it just didn't shine like a machined steel part

Excellent.... So, I just need an extra set of MIM parts to modify.... First thought this deserved an exalt but NBY's karma is so negative... I just had to add one more smite! ;D

Glad I could be of help, maybe don't need a second set of parts, might shine a bit better than mine did as I discovered after talking to a buddy yesterday that the gloss has nothing to do with being MIM, but more to do with the grade of aluminum/steel/whatever they happen to be made of.
