Seems accuracy would rely to heavily on a solid consistent lock up. The Ruger method at least did not have a sight moving every time it was shot, cleared, checked, cleaned, etc. Neat gun though.

The S&W perfected third model requires you to pull up the rear sight for loading as it is the release. It's over a hundred years old and very sweet in usage.
