I have decided on a 4" barrel on a Stainless steel build ,but can't make my mind up, a barrel band or not. I would really like one but don't know how a 4" would look. Anybody own one or have a picture of one they could post? Thanks

I like the Idea, you could make the ejector housing muzzle length with a small cutout for the band (like John Linebaugh does with the front sight) giving you a shoulder to help keep the screw from shearing. It would be short stocky and mean!

Hopefully axehandle will come along and post a pic of his 4" or 4 5/8" Clements with a banded barrel. Looks weird to me, but to each his own.

Do any of the NECG barrel band front sight assemblies fit Blackhaw/Original Vaquero muzzle profiles?

if it is set up like the "photoshopped" pic that rigby provided, you're going to have a heck of a time with extraction.
Axehandle's, shortbarreled clements (with those sweet ivory grips) gun addresses the extraction issue.

Do any of the NECG barrel band front sight assemblies fit Blackhaw/Original Vaquero muzzle profiles? Depends entirely on the heat of your torch and the weight of your hammer. (I have no idea)

Says CCG on the side.... Means that David Clements built it...

I don't usually care for barrel bands on the custom five-shooters at all but I really like Axe's 4 5/8" gun.

Says CCG on the side.... Means that David Clements built it... Couldn't make out if that was CCG or 006 in the picture, I really like barrel bands but it seems 5 1/2" barrel band guns are way over done (I have 2 my self), yours is a nice fresh take on the bands and I really like it.
