Watching on u tube . Vortex got the military contract, of all the cool features,to me, is the integral rail attachment. No rings to attach scope to rifle ! No more wonky crosshairs! Lol Really a cool piece of kit for our military!

Lol Really a cool piece of kit for our military! In fairness, this is the case with the RCO and SDO by trijicon as well. I was fortunate enough to be invited out for the field testing of the various Squad weapons that were being evaluated. There’s some interesting things coming down the road.

I've had really good luck with Vortex Scopes.
There's one forum where they're bashed pretty bad. But, it has zero credibility anyways.
I've got them on quite a few rifles and they do just fine.
Kudos to them for getting the contract...

I am impressed that Bleeping pistol company did not buy the contract out from under Vortex!
