This has probably been covered, but.....
I have an OM Single Six. Is there any blue steel grip frames that will fit it? bolt on and go without gunsmithing?
Thanks for any info you can share.

A steel Old Army grip frame will work, I have a few OM's that wear one...But they're getting harder to find anymore.

Old Model Super Blackhawk grip frames will fit as will be mentioned Old Army blue or stainless steel grip frames both of which are not quite as easy to find as an honest politician.

There's always RW grip frames, you will have some minor fitting though

You could also go with one of the steel new model grip frames and make a simple trigger return spring insert or look for one if David Clements old model hybrid triggers which has the hump to work with the nm trigger return spring.

Rob
When I first read this I wondered “why”? Decided to bolt a Super BH grip frame to my OM Single Six 6”, expecting to take it back off immediately. I unexpectedly think I like it. Feels good in my hand and balances well. Gives the little.22 some more “heft”. Going to try it for awhile.

I just think it's a better quality gun when all of the parts are steel including the grip frame and ejector rod housing. Just a personal preference, that's all!
