I only neck size my fired 7-30 brass and have had good results. But I only shoot my handloads out of the one carbine barrel.
Anyone else do the same?

Well, I could,, but I do have a spare barrel for my Contender,, so not usually. Besides I'm getting superb accuracy anyway,, so why mess with anything.

That's true enough. Do you have a favorite load you'd share?

I have a Bullberry pistol and carbine barrels in 7-30.
One has shorter headspace, so no I can't mix brass and just neck size. Learned that the hard way. Either have to keep the brass separate or bump the shoulders on the brass for a universal fit.

when I was loading and shooting 7x30 Waters, I had a T/C 14in. bbl. The chamber was loose in the back end. Full power loads always expanded the case webs enough to require FL resizing.
