Decided since it was a rainy December day, to kill some time at my favorite LGS. Found this nice, used S&W 422 sitting there. I gave it a new home as one can never have too many .22 handguns to play with.

Good find! Those are some sweet shooting, very underrated guns that S&W had trouble selling back in the day, but command premium prices now days. I've owned a little 2214 for nearly 30 years now & if I choose to sell it (NOPE!) I could easily get 5-6 times what I originally paid.

I have one of those, paid like $179 at a gun show, put a cheap red-dot on it, shoots great!

A friend was reaching me to trap hogs and that is what he shot them with. It was the first one I had ever shot. I like it !

I got one once and the first thing that popped into my mind was an old song called "Poor old ugly Gladys Jones". Then I shot it. It prettied up fast. I agree with others, they would shoot.

Got me one too, way back when. My go to packing pistol. Carried it wherever I went, woods bummin' bow hunting, sitting on the tranny tunnel of the truck. Really dont know what the count is on coyote and fox with that thing, while bow hunting and running the truck down backroads in the north country? Mine is the 6". I know where there is one now but in stainless😵 Crash87
