Anyone have one on their Smith? I'm thinking about getting one for my favorite 625-3...🤔

I’m probably going to add a couple of them to the mix very shortly. I have several on my Ruger single actions so what’s not to like?

I only have one. They can be a bit annoying to adjust, but the sight picture can't be beat (in my opinion). Here's mine on a M69, mated with a Dawson Precision 1/10" front blade.

Anyone have one on their Smith? I'm thinking about getting one for my favorite 625-3...🤔 ***** FIXED SIGHTS (or LOCK DOWN SIGHTS) work magic on some guns and a marksman or markswoman with a particular gun. For this shooter, fixed sights belong on a Peacemaker, belong on SIG/Sauer automatics, various Glocks, emphatically on my early Colt 1911 Delta Elite 10mm. Fixed sights do not belong on a silhouette revolver or a full-tilt hunting revolver. There are no exceptions on the silhouette revolver. The exception on a hunting revolver is the SHOOTER dead nuts out to his or her practical limit. As a fantasy, as bling, as a conceit, the fixed sight is dead. Unless the TARGET SAYS IT IS OK. There are other auto & revolvers which say YES to a stout fixed rear sight. I’ll won’t name them all, because I can’t. Just like a class-dimensioned Peacemaker, Colt and S&W made sixguns with rear sight milled through the topstrap; a proper example of such screams “leave me alone!” The classic post-war S&W sight apologies to no one, having piled trophies and meat beyond register. Those pouring bullets over factory Smith & Wesson adjustable sights tournament to mountain are in no position to argue against it. If a lock-down sight tickles your springs, go for it. Much as I respect the classic post-war S&W sight, I would not see the S&W sight on another gun; especially a 1911, where it amounts to ice cream on onions. Where the fixed sight shinesLearn your POA (Point of Aim) with the load you shoot. Weld POA to your awareness. Any adjustment to conditions starts from this picture. A fixed sight permits no sight adjustment; adjust picture to set POI (Point of Impact). Armed with knowledge of a fixed sight, confidence feeds fine shooting. David Bradshaw

I have them on most of my S&Ws. Big improvement especially with my preferred white line front sight. That way i have the same sight picture as on many of my SAs.

Thanks all...I have a few on my Ruger's & love them, I've always had a higher opinion of the S&W factory rear sights, but the Bowen looks to be a worthwhile addition. I believe that I'll get one ordered & see for myself.

I prefer his "Target" sight over the "Rough Country".

I prefer his "Target" sight over the "Rough Country". Agreed hut he doesn’t offer a Target Smith and Wesson version, they seem to be just for the Rugers…

I really think Bowen's sights are top notch. I suggest you order several if you like them.
I waited two years for mine to arrive. I texted after 6 months and was told that they were not available yet, but to be patient. After another year and seeing posts about others receiving their sights, I finally called.
After quite a long time, they came back and said my order had slipped through the cracks somehow and they would make certain I was included in the next run. I was pleasantly surprised when they all showed up about a month later with a hand written note about how sorry they were for the problems and the wait.
They make a great product and I think they fill every order they can immediately. They are just so popular, they don't seem to be able to keep a stock around for quick ship.
Anybody know if they have caught up?
