For the factory load shooter a lot to gain going to the 327. For the handloader a lot less to gain. Just my quick thought.

The cylinder on the SP101’s are quite a bit longer than the Single Sixes.

I'm with Fowler on this one, you can push a 32 magnum pretty hard! Brass is easy to find & a can of powder goes a long way. Having said that I have several 327's and a Buckeye so I like them too! No the 32 cylinder isn't rechambered. Also have a 16-4 S&W 32 magnum, it won't get surgery either.

Ruger made some SP's in 327...I have one, & I believe I'd just hunt a 327 version down rather than going to all the trouble & expense of sending a 32 Mag in for conversion.

You guys seen a decent priced 327 SP101 recently? Saw a post on the Ruger forum saying the 32 mag chamber would not cleanly make a 327 chamber. SAAMI specs from my prospective.

Hmm but then since when has Ruger ever willingly let one of their gun be modified. But I know a bunch of guys who have altered 32 mag cylinders to become 327 guns. Buckeyes come to mind as a perfect donor gun.

Not long after the SP-101 first came out, I was reading in AH and maybe other sources about rechambering them from 38 Special to 357 Magnum. It worked then and there shouldn't be a problem with taking one from 32 H&R to 327

Who would rechamber a 16-4 to 327?

There are quite a few members over on the SW Forum that have converted H&R to Federal Magnum on the 16-4.
32 H&R Mag =23.500 psi 327 Fed Mag =46,000 psi 32-20 WCF =30,500 psi
There are supposedly reports of expanded and cracked SP101 with the conversion which I find surprising as I've read Ruger sells a 327fm in the SP101. You're not reducing the diameter with the conversion, but you're adding mucho pressure.
I have not done it to mine because of the doubling of the pressure. I really enjoy and appreciate my 32 H&Rmag's and just don't want to risk it. The answer to all Americans is to also have the Ruger Blackhawk 8, or the Single 7 in 327fedmag.
I'm a handloader so I have built some stout rounds for the 32 H&Rmag getting excellent accuracy. I'm still searching for that elusive 327 load that will make tiny little groups in my 327s. I have also not got accustomed to the loud, booming CRACK from the 327. Still, the chase is awfully exciting.
Prescut The 32-20 is still my favorite.

32 mag is a real contender when hand loaded...I am having fun with a 115 grn over unique and a 125grn over 2400 or H110 both are stout and at 1200 fps plus...Nice for woods walking or just a packing...
