Regardless or the original design, this was El Paso Saddlery's catalog photo: Therefore I assumed the cant would have been more like their photo. Had they illustrated the cant I woild have ordered neutral cant. Bob Wright All would be better served if all of their holsters in the catalog were pictured on a belt. It is hard to tell when they are not. postimg.cc/47Lh0PJCpostimg.cc/zLpLL7HLpostimg.cc/MfBKYmHm***** John is correct, holster cant warrants specific attention. An exaggerated can’t inclines the revolver to pitch in that direction; especially with a belt loop that holds the gun high. Leather I built for my later shooting partner, Ed Verge, carried his S&W M-57 8-3/8” barrel vertical. Verge was short, strongly built, with what his wife described as a “poker spine.” I made his belt 3” wide, same as mine, and we wore like that all day. A rake (butt rearward) or cant (butt forward) would not have suited his draw. David Bradshaw
