Man. Tough crowd! My shoes don’t play much in what we do hahahaha I remember guys that shot Hi Power always had good tall laced boots that were laced tight for ankle support etc when shooting from standing. As far as intended target….no shoes would help 😂 |

I've seen guys shooting prone matches wearing them. I think the square toes would be more of a hinderance than a help for me!

Maybe some discipline out there has them up on their toes? Bad form otherwise as far as well look at it. Wide leg stance Prine with sides of feet contacting ground. |

Nothing wrong with making a statement. Some of the rifles I've seen are eye-catching to say the least, so why not the shoes.
Those are probably for kneeling not prone.

I've never heard of such a thing, but those shoes aren't even close to "new". Noticed "Made in West Germany" on the tongues of the shoes. Interesting.

Adidas made some high performance boots some years back and they were also made in Germany. Super lightweight, stayed put under any conditions, came in many colors (black, scuffed black, and grey after the black got worn off), and were waterproof to the top of the soles. I wore a few pairs out and remember how comfortable they were, but none had square toe soles...
