Found this Ruger P90 .45 on GB for a bargain price. This think is built like a tank. You couldn’t wear it out in a lifetime of shooting.

What a blast from the past, thanks for posting the pic. I still have a P85 9mm that I bought used about 30 years ago, still shoot it every now and then.

I grew up shooting my dad’s P89 9mm. Solid guns - it’s still his primary handgun. These older Rugers are apparently making a bit of a resurgence - it’s the latest hipster gun fad.

Wow, yeah, a blast from the past. I had a P85 9mm when they came out. A lil blonde gal that did dispatch for her police chief Dad and vice for a 'burb some miles away was afraid her vice work might follow her home. I sold her the P85 for a house gun. More suitable than the little 380 she packed when doing vice work. It was/is a solid gun, sure easy to handle in 9mm.. An easy guess that it would make a good 45.

They are Ruger Stout, originally designed to capture the FBI 10mm market. When that kettle of fish went south Ruger rechambered them to 45 ACP. Just about indestructable. Accurate also.
