Here's my bfr banana bisley with it's new elm wood burl grips by Chigs. I think that his profile and the wood totally fixed the goofy looks it had with the factory micarta. Let's here y'all's opinion. imgur.com/gallery/8HsUO9jStill can't get a pic to post. Can somebody help out here?

I won't participate in these kinds of polls. It takes too much away from the forum.
Revolvers are a very personal thing. It seems grips and sights top the list in personal touches.
If you're happy with your grips, I'm happy for you. Congratulations!!!

A pretty is, as pretty does kinda thing I think. If it WORKS, it will start to look good. Without having even held one, nevermind shooting one, I did vote IFFY. As in, to me, inconclusive. The wood is nice.

I am sold on the grips and the more I shoot them the prettier they get. That wood looks really nice.

Love the grips.
If you really want to improve the aesthetics of a BFR, I recommend a flap holster.

First and foremost. Huey! Well said. I own and have owned more handguns than most museums, Because i just lovem. A sixgun is a masterful creation and a mainstay in our development as a species...... PERIOD. Whether you agree or not there are certain dates that will stick in the mindsets of all intelligent humans for the duration of our dominance as a species on this planet!!!! Number 1, Not definite but the day we chose as a monument to time and our relationship with GOD, the birth of CHRIST! December 25th! and the starting of the clock as a point in our time here to reference time. Months, weeks , days at his estimated time of death. BC and AD! Recognised on all four corners of earth. We are currently at august the 8th 2021 from that very day. You may not believe it was an actual event but 96 percent of the planet does. Number 2 The birth of a nation that has out paced every other civilization in the recorded history of humanity. July 4th 1776! Hear hear! and number 3, the year of 1873. The Colt Single Action Army, also known as the Single Action Army, SAA, Model P, Peacemaker and M1873! The one tool that made a 5 foot tall 100 pound man equal to a 6 foot tall 200 pound man hands down. with mind you the smaller man having an added advantage of less distance to travel with the raising of arm to Firing position. Every one in some sort of human civilization knows the name COLT 45!!!!!!As i have stated many times to a lot of fine men here on this fantastic forum, THERE ARE 7 BILLION PEOPLE ON THIS PLANET MAKING AN AVERAGE OF TWO HANDS PER, SO 14 BILLION HANDS EACH WITH A UNIQUE FINGER PRINT PATTERN. Preference is a unique feature to all men and women so if it works for you go with it man. I have not preferred the look of the banana grip from BFR because i haven't shot it. And Partly because i dont agree with the Bisley terminology being used in the past. But realistically, what in the hell would you call it. It has a sweeping backstrap very similar but does not go to the top of the frame. I like Max Prasacs statement that it is an interpretation and that is true. So is the Rugers version. Both of them are a major improvement over the original Bisley design. So who cares what its called. If it works for you, Lets Dance. I have been able to manipulate grip frames for my own use , so i havent tried everyone elses stuff. But i do know Grip frames and i do know different strokes for different folks. AS of yesterday i had 243 different grip frame combinations for the Ruger SA. As of this morning make that 247! Thanks to my Buddy BigBore5 Wayne and the use of his panels i now have a BFR Bisley Plowhandle available with A bisley trigger guard for use with a Ruger Bisley Trigger. For those of you who truly dig this frame shape and want one on your Ruger. Well Walahhh. Here she is. A copy of the angled trigger guard profile that is just like the BFR Bisley as well as a Hunter trigger guard version and a Dragoon squareback as well for use with the Blackhawk trigger. By The way, IT FEELS GREAT! Hahahahaha. I didnt care much for the look of the Brass on stainless until i did it and it grew on me very quick. I love it now. especially with darker grip panels. Thank you David Bradshaw. Here is an overlay of a BFR Bisley Copy for Ruger BH over a super black hawk for reference guys. Making one for wayne to try today. And a Bisley trigger guard version over the same. Enjoy R BFR STD in Black Over A super blackie hunter in Red FR BTG ( Bisley trigger guard) in Black over a Super Blackie Hunter in Red

Thanks Ronnie. Now if you can make use a bfr banana that covers the upper grip screws in a more traditional way for the blackie and pillager that'll really help the looks
