Ordered the insulated Danner elk hunter last week and just received them! Nice and light! Now let’s talk socks! What do you recommend?

It's a giant pain in the butt. Especially in the dark at 4AM hunting. But worth it. I have a pile of polypropolyne sock liners that I don't even bother talking with me hunting anymore. In hot weather they're great as well. I first started wearing them for long long hikes and working multi day shooting matches. Dry, "clean", blister free toes.
I've had occasion to wear them (forced to wear them) for several days straight without taking them off. While my feet were sure stinky, they were only a fraction so of how nasty they would have been with regular socks. And none of the awful nastiness that would have been between my toes with regular socks either. lol
If they weren't so expensive and such a pain to put on, I wouldn't wear anything else.
