Trying to advise a friend. NOT SELLING HERE.

He has decided to part ways with his 2009 Dustin Linebaugh 475 Bisley Vaquero. Stainless, Black Micarta Grips, Round 4 3/4" barrel. Excellent condition shot very little. Hornady Dies, 50+ pieces of brass and 60 Montana Bullet Works Hardcast 400 grain WFN bullets.

I know what he paid, I had a similar DL 475 with a 5 1/2" barrel and octagon barrel I sold mine and know what I got for it. Dustin's prices ahve gone up and the wait time has not decreased so I am trying to help him price this thing. Any thoughts?

IMO, that Linebaugh that just sold wasn't a $5K gun...

I agree with John/Zeus about the starting price for the Dustin gun...

He edited the add to fix the 6 shot part. Somebody must have told hm. Been there....

Dustin guns rarely come up for sale and seem to bring replacement cost as a floor- that is base gun plus build cost. No discounts here on the secondary market like you see with other customs.

4k Seems about right but wouldn't be surprised if it goes for more these days.
