Would have to slug the barrel first. I'd not hesitate to shoot 357/358" bullets down a 9mm bore anyways.
I do think MRI would build a two cylinder gun for 357 Max/350 Legend. Would be no different than a Ruger 357 Magnum Blackhawk Convertible.
Sure wish MRI would build a Midlength Frame. I've got one Midlength DMax base gun left. Trying to decide what to build on it.

***** Joe.... Jerry Moran has been my info source on the .350 So-Called Legend. Unless I’m mistaken, drawings Jerry sent show a slight taper to chamber and case. Moran, with his Scottish red hair----turned white these days, but where it grows from inside his skull doesn’t know that----got all in a fever to work with this cartridge after his vain effort to talk Steve Hornady into firing up the .357 Maximum. Seems to me the AR 15’s been chasing strange cartridges for a while. Don’t worry about the alleged .355” groove diameter. It’s the chamber throat which determines whether combustion is cushioned or trapped. To view the .350 Legend through a hollowed out funny bone, the Modus Operandi appears to be a proprietary rimless mongrel hostile to hand loading. Quite the opposite of the .357 Maximum. The 350 Legend was to take advantage of midwestern, upper midwest states allowing straight wall cartridges for deer/big game. Winchester sat down and based it as much as possible on product lines it already had, to safe development time, and of course money. The 1st few stages of case production come off the 223/5.56 line. The 1st few stages of bullet production come off the 9mm line. Thinking the "Legend" moniker came from folks behind desks somewhere, marketing types. Wish they had chosen something else myself. So, not sure if starting out with a 350 Legend revolver is a headstart towards a 357MAX at all. Kinda think the Legend has a bit more case volume and maybe a bit more on tap SAAMI-wise. I do understand the wish for more 357 Max revolvers. Like the midframe FT's and the BSBH's in 454 and 480, keep wishing, keep asking and keep thinking. Luck.

As far as I can tell, the .350 Legend case is simply a lengthened, rim-turned 9x23 Winchester. It has the same case head thickness, same case head diameter, the same 55k psi max pressure, and the same taper, albeit over a longer length. Seems to me that Winchester just dusted off and modified the pistol case that already had their name on it. I shoot 9x23, so as soon as I could, I got a .350 Legend case to compare. It was never based on the .223 case, and shares only its rim diameter. Not a great case design for a revolver... BTW, I haven't seen this theory in print anywhere, and nobody from Winchester has admitted it, but I'm convinced.

They need to put it in a single action so we can start calling it the .350 Long Colt and really confusing things.
