picked up a heavily carried 4" model 10-10 yesterday for what I'd consider to be a very good price. ($275)
The bluing is pretty badly worn. The lockup, action, and bore are excellent.
Now I'm trying to decide what I wanna do with it. I have plenty of 38spl. revolvers.
What can this gun be converted to 10mm, 10mm mag., 41spl?
Thanks Justin

Gonna have a hard time fitting any of those into a K frame without a custom cylinder....

I was wondering that. I'm not very knowledgeable about the S&W frames. This is only my third smith ever.
Making an OS cylinder wouldn't be a problem either.
I may just sit on it for awhile and think about it. I have plenty of other projects in the works for now.
The thought of making it into a 10mm does keep popping up in my head though.

If you're going with a new cylinder, you're better going down in bore size rather than up.
Of course there's no economy in all that, but if it's for fun then go for it.
You could keep it a 38 and turn it into an old style PPC or bowling pin gun too.

It would make a great 32! 😎

With the Model 10 you should be looking at smaller calibers, not bigger calibers.

I'll shoot the gun for awhile. But now that I have 32cal. in my head, my gears are turning. I don't own a 32cal. gun.
I purchased a single six once chambered in 32H&R, but I gave it to my dad for Father's day about a week later.
Man, that single six was a good buy too. $200 in a leather cowboy holster and belt. Should of seen my dad's face light up when I gave it to him.
