This time I'm plugging two other makers. The first is Skillet Creek on Etsy. Michael does beautiful work. It's all hand stitched and his carving is very well executed. This is a Slim Jim for the Schofield. Should've taken a pic of his very well done sewn toe plug. His prices are unbelievable. www.etsy.com/shop/SkilletCreekThe other a Mexican loop, the "Shootist" model from Simply Rugged with Rick Gittlein's beautiful floral carving and in my favorite color, oxblood. This one for a 7.5" Colt. I might add that Richard Gittlein's work was one that inspired me to try my hand at leatherwork.

Skillet Creek is one of my saved sellers on Etsy... And I agree, incredibly talented work at amazing prices.

During WW II my sister was stationed near San Antonio, Texas. Nearby, don't know where, were Mexican leather crafters who made belts, purses and billfolds. Service men and women often purchased these items and sent back home or used them when in civilan clothes. Every such item I ever saw was oxblood color and very heavily carved. My sister brought back a very heavy and ornate purse.
Those holsters, color and carving, remind me of the purse she brought back. Sort of struck a sentimental chord there, Craig!

Nice holsters! I’ve been dithering back and forth on buying a Shootist for my 5.5” NMBH, I think you’ve just made up my mind for me. Will it fit on a. 2 1/4” gun belt?

Money belts are usually pretty wide. I made one 3.5" a couple years ago.
