I don't have a photo of the FPS, but it's just shortened. Here is an article with some images of the slide's cut for it. www.brownells.com/aspx/learn/learndetail.aspx?lid=12540I use a forward mounted and buried Bo-Mar cut on the ones I build. It does not require modification to the FPS and is a bit more protected.

My first cut slide , I don’t like how chopped the stop is. I’ve had full size slide stops crack .

That is a standard cut offered by Nighthawk. It takes a few hours for me to manually mill one. I am working on opening up shop, just not there, yet! No connection to Nighthawk other than as a parts customer that has been treated very well by them.
