I got an PM from a member asking if I ever did a 10mm version of the Martin LFN. The short answer is, I would have had it not been for Todd Corder. Years ago, Todd was kind enough to send me a custom 6-cavity Lee mold for his 230 gr 10mm bullet. It shoots so well in my .401 Bobcats, .38-40s, and .401 Powermags, it is the only 10mm revolver bullet I use (the nose is too long for 10mm automatics; but it does well in 10mm Auto revolvers). I recently loaded some for my favorite .401 Powermag and felt compelled to share the bullet here. A quick blurb about my .401 Powermags. I bought five over the years when they were cheap; 1990's through the late 2000's. I never paid more than $350, and two are Excellent+ condition. The third I don't believe was ever fired. The fourth is a very clean, shooter grade. Then there's this ugly duckling. I paid $165 for it because the owner said that's what the price guide claimed it was worth. As you can see, the bluing is worn in a lot of places and the grips are scuffed (but no cracks). Of the five I own, this one is my favorite by far. The price was right, it shoots consistently, and wears its age well (import stamp = 1965) I'm so fond of the 230 gr Corder, I may have Accurate Molds duplicate it for others to enjoy. Stay tuned. -Lee www.singleactions.com"Chasing perfection five shots at a time"

Interesting little bullet you linked there. I may have to order one. And I really like your converted Ruger. For those who have never handled the Herters Powermag, they were exceptionally well fit. The triggers were also quite smooth right out of the box. The .401 I posted above may look worn, but the lock-up and indexing are super tight. -Lee www.singleactions.com"Chasing perfection five shots at a time"

I really wanted to build a similar mold before mountain shut down but I never got to it. I’d love to try something like that in my 610

That 230gr bullet looks good. I'd like to try it out with my 4" Single Six.

You know you had me at 401 Powermag I'd be interested in a mold buy... my Powermag is in the form of a custom cylinder for my Buckeye Blackhawk I've already been in contact with Accurate about ordering this bullet... accuratemolds.com/bullet_detail.php?bullet=40-172E-D.pngI own an original 401 Powermag, but, I sent a Ruger OM 357 w/SBH gripframe and hammer to Mr. Clements for some magic. Even has the 230gr in dummy shells.

Yes folks I’m still here!
Kayla and I have just moved, so things are in a bit of disarray. Although the last couple years have been as well leading up to our relocation
I still have some molds for those who want them.
Lee, Accurate Molds will be adding the 230 here soon as well as the 200 LMNGC and two others weights that will have a shorter nose to crimp and be correct for a FA 97 in 38-40
Hope this helps Todd Corder
