So, on my new wood working bench, I added a 5 gallon vacuum stabilizing pot... today I ran across some pine cones stabilized in resin, for knife scales... thought something like this might look kind of interesting as gun grips??? probably not in yellow, but both black & white resin looked pretty nice... I've got a Bark River knife with the pine cone/resin scales. Wouldn't have been my first choice (knife was a gift), but they are pretty neato, IMO.
