Anyone want Osage Orange I have about 150-175bft of 4/4 kiln dried Why yes, if you have enough to spare. How much for a large flat rate box of it? What you going to make so I can find and cut to your needs?

My entry is not unique material but unique in the sourcing. I have a chunk of walnut that was given to me by Lee Jurras right after I retired from the Navy. He, Rob Leahy and I swapped a 5" 629 and some other stuff around at about that time, 2013-ish. The 629 ended up back with Rob and I still have Lee's Glock 20. Right after that Lee sent me the walnut. I'm working up a 3/4" sized version of the gun John Linebaugh built for Lee(a twin to John's personal 500.) The walnut is currently with Ronnie Wells being stabilized and rough fitted to a Potato Judge Junior grip frame, then off to Tyler Gun Works. It will be mounted on a Flat top 45 Colt, 4 5/8" barrel, the grips finished, TGW accuracy package, 2Dogs front sight and Bobby's Master Blue Finish.

Remember these days? Found these boxes, three sets per box, while sorting my reloading supplies. Goncalo Alves on the lower. The upper were in a box from Eagle I believe. More Goncalo Alves in the boxes as well as fancy walnuts. IIRC I bought four sets of the GA grips on special for $18 a pop.

Amboyna burl. It took me more than a year to find this amazing piece of wood. JRH has it and I am eagerly awaiting it's transformation into grips for my BFR .500 JRH. AMBOYNA by Brian RENO, on Flickr
