These are the pistols that have the lightened slides, with metal removed from the inside of the slide so lighter loads could be used in competition. Should anything be done to the pistol before it is shot with hardball rounds?

Should anything be done to the pistol before it is shot with hardball rounds? ***** Put an 18 pound recoil spring in mine. Shot mostly hardball and hollow point, not much target. Target wadcutter is less accurate @ 100 yards than good hollow points. Accuracy of Full Metal Jacket depends on the jacket. More difficult to draw a round nose jacket of uniform thickness that a truncated cone or hollow point. David Bradshaw
