The itch got to be hard to not scratch, and I bid on a Single Six Bisley yesterday. I didn't really care too much if I won or not, so naturally I won it. The serial # says shipped in 2019. Were these some made on leftover parts or did Lipsey’s do a run? There doesn't seem to be many for sale often.
This will be my first blued Ruger as all the others are stainless. Some mean member showed pictures of his Powers Metal Works RBH with CCH so I've already emailed Powers about getting this new toy CCH, charcoal blued, and the barrel cut to 5.5". Luckily I have 3-4 Bowen Target rear sights, so that's done. Wood should be picked from Chigsgrips.com today or early next week (he has some set aside) so my gripfame can get fitted with it. Midway got a bit of money for brass, springs, and a few other items specific for this new toy. Miha had a 314-640 115 grain PB and Sage's had a few thousand PBGC's. It also seems if you pick a Barranti Northwest MC and send the money, one of those fine holsters can be delivered. The last piece of the puzzle for now will be figuring out how tall the front sight will need to be so I can put one of 2 Dogs sights on it.
A new revolver toy is a slippery slope, but I'm used to it. Merry Christmas my bride said (she's not only very easy on the eyes, but puts up with my "this is the last revolver babe" BS).

Lipsey’s did a run of these recently. I have one of those, and it is one of my most accurate factory ruger single actions. There is a chart floating around somewhere that says what miha bullets fit what guns. 2 dogs will know what height sight you need. Mine shot about 6” high at 25 yards. He knew just what I needed. I shoot a noe 314-119 in mine and it is a great bullet. I think it was originally designed for the 7.62- 39. I also load some 98 grain dewc’s for easy plinking fun. I like to think of the 32 H&R as my reloadable 22lr. Congratulations! You did good!

Lipseys did a run. Mine is extremely accurate and also wears a 2 Dogs front sight.

It seems that bullet will be fine in the single six, but will be too long for the single sevens if used in 327 brass.

Well, I'm in good company then. I already have a Sledgehammer mold and an Accurate Molds 125 grain for my 97 in 327, and I suspect they'll work in the 32 H&R. I wanted the 115 grain MP mold for a while but just didn't order it. I ordered the PB for ease of use but will install the PBGC's when I want to shoot them out of the 327.
I'm going to have Powers shorten the barrel as I greatly prefer a 5.5".

Look forward to seeing the changes. I recently bought one as well but other than a front sight change and spring swap it will remain as is.

Look forward to seeing the changes. I recently bought one as well but other than a front sight change and spring swap it will remain as is. I've got everything waiting on the revolver with the exception of the Barranti (it's in the shopping cart) and the Belt Mountain pin. I'll shoot it first and fondle it a few days before I box it up and send it for the metal work and the grips. Probably grips first as I would prefer to ship it with the laminated grips and not the fitted walnut (just the gripframe will go for the grips). The MP Mold showed up yesterday and I should get a couple hundred cast today and powder coated. I want the revolver here before I start sizing any of the bullets. Unbelievable shipping as always from Miha. 4 days from order to delivery from Slovenia to South Carolina.

The very best of luck to you on your build. Powers does have an interesting Smokey smooth gray to blue hue to his case hardened color. Let him do your hammer as well, you'll like the look. You might want to ask him about applying his clear coat over the CCH, he did on my two Vaqueros and it is not shinny it just brings out the color variations more vivid. My 2 cents worth.....

Those are good cents worth. Planning on getting the clear added. I noticed his colors aren't the vivid color of say a Turnbull CCH. I'm fine with that. I was also planning to get the hammer done. Not sure if the trigger would CCH or not or if would even be advisable. I like the look of the pins and screws being nitre blued.
I just have to pick it up and shoot it a few times before I send it off.

I left my triggers blue there is not enough of them showing to make a difference in having the CCH-ed. His color turns out looking more old school than Turnbull or many others for that mater. The nitro blue pins are always a nice added touch. If you would like PM your cell number and I'll get you some true to life close ups (colors) of my cylinders frames and Bisley hammers that were install.

I purchased one of these lipsey's 2019 run Bisleys a while back, new off GB. When I received it, I first cocked and felt the trigger pull. Like "all" new Rugers, my opinion, I felt as always, a few $$ going to a action/trigger job. My next ritual is to open the pin gauges box, pull the cylinder and check throat dimensions. Everything was spot on, except..........! It looked like and employee who put this together, on a monday?, dropped the cylinder on its gas ring and put a very profound "dent" in it, and I'm talking B-A-D, bad. So I checked the barrel cylinder gap, as there was a very noticeable fore and aft movement of the cylinder. in excess of .020" movement. give or take a few tiny .001's. This is the first Ruger I have ever received new that had to go back. I do own a few btw, and thought Oh No Not ME!! I sent it back, painlessly after a very pleasant phone call, on their dime and received back a revolver with a new cylinder fitted, AND, I must have gotten a Ruger tech that actually knows not only what a good trigger pull is, but worked on mine to give me one too! I also put one of 2dogs sights on it and a set of grips and started loading it with cast. Very accurate and I am very pleased with it. I to wouldn't mind cutting an inch off the barrel but I think Ill leave it as is. I own a early 80's plow handle version, 4 5/8" another very accurate 32. and always wanted the bisley version. I wasn't aware Lipseys brought these out until I was browsing GB one day, Glad I did! Crash87

Picked up the new toy on Saturday afternoon after work. When I got home, out came the measuring tools. Barrel cylinder gap is the tightest I've seen on a factory Ruger at .002" and .0025". Throats are measured with bullets (no pin gauges here unfortunately) and .314" plain based PC have to be pushed through and .3128" plain based PC will slow down only so my SWAG is .313"+. I'll hone a spare Lee sizing die to .313" as I have a spare.
Fitting the Power Pawl took some serious filing. I'd read and saw in his video that the 32's pawl were long everywhere and it was. On 3 cylinders it locks a tiny bit before the hammer and on 3 cylinders it locks up exactly together now. About as good as I would hope for on the timing. Wolff trigger spring and polishing the parts that rub (so to speak) results in a smooth 2.5lb pull.
Bowen Target rear is installed and waiting on the USPS to deliver Fermin's front sight. Waiting to hear back from Kelye on a cylinder pin but he always is busy I've read many times (gotta have his pins on the Ruger's). I'm also waiting on the USPS to deliver a few New Model Vaquero ejector rods. I've been spoiled with the ejector rod Clements installed on the Bisquero he built for me and the NM Vaquero part is the only game in town with a cresent ejector rod. Lucky for me I had a set of Holly grips I purchased from Texas Grips for another Bisley and they fit much nicer than the plywood sent on this little revolver. They'll do until the gripframe goes to Chig's for some wild walnut.
I've changed directions on the finish as this one will go to Tyler for CCH, bluing, and barrel shortening. In the mean time, a good wipe down results in a decent factory bluing job.
