Happy 245th. birthday to the United States Marine Corps, and to all fellow Marines! I'm looking forward to conversations throughout today with 5 other grizzled old Sergeants, as I do every year on Nov. 10. Semper Fi.
To the uninitiated, it means "Devil Dogs"

Well I guess I fell more grizzle than old on this birthday of ours, hard to believe that 50 years have passed since my discharge. Semper Fi, my Brothers By the way I was just thinking the other day about our beautiful bungalow on the beach, December of 67. i.ibb.co/5ssxbbp/Nam-Picture3.jpg

I spent 13 of my 32 years as a Hospital Corpsman with the FMF. Mostly 1st and 3rd Marine Divisions. An honor and a privilege.
