A few weeks ago I posted on here that I needed a holster for a 5" GP100 in 10mm that I had just purchased. Got lots of good suggestions but came up with a thrifty alternative. Found an old Bianhi 5B left hand six inch rig for a Colt Python. The GP fits perfectly except for length. Local leather hobbyist made a smooth reduction on the barrel length of the holster. A pic to prove my point! Best part was I traded some old 32 Winchester Special brass for the work.

Looks like the perfect solution. Did something similar with an old three screw single six and a Safariland holster.

Yes the guy who did the work is quite a craftsman. Lucky to find him, he's a LEO and does leather work for a hobby and some extra bucks.

Yes I think he did a He11 of a nice job of saving that one and making it fit really well. I like the way he left a drain hole so rain and grit can work their way out of it........

Nice work! Wish I could find a factory option for my 5" .327 GP.
