I have an OM .357 Blackhawk.
I'm looking for a blued steel grip frame for it.
Anyone have one or can point me in the direction of where I can find one that would fit it?
It's for a .357 I carry in the field so doesn't need to be in any great shape.
Thanks Rob

I believe the only steel old models would be from the super Blackhawks, the other option would be a steel grip frame from an old army. Both have wide trigger slots. Otherwise fit a brass one or a New model can be made to fit with a modification or two.

IIRC, early in the threads on Ronnie Wells' grip frames (https://www.rwgripframes.com) he mentioned the possibility that his grip frames could be made in steel. There was talk of how hard this would be on tooling (bits?). So, if and when Ronnie produces them in steel, they will probably cost more than aluminum or brass. However, you might have a choice of many configurations. P.S. Cannot seem to add rwgripframes.com as a clickable link but if you type it in your browser, it'll work. Power Custom also makes a blued steel (or brass, or stainless) Colt-style two-piece grip frame. powercustom.com/store/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=12&products_id=67&zenid=852ps8d622nq87ngqa0296lst3

You can also get a NM grip frame,, and add a hand made, (easily done,) trigger return spring block, to get what you wish. I have put several NM g/f's under OM guns.

Thanks for all the replies. I'll check Powers and I assume I can find a youtube video to show how to make a return spring block?
