I don.t have a wife , so there is no filter, i buy whatever i think can afford, i love women, and i have a Daughter and 2 grand kids, But never a wife, I just don't like having to ask anybody for permission to do anything, And i set my own priorities, I surly envy people who are happily married, but happily is the key, and far from automatic !

Ordered a .44 Special, I don,t remember, who but a couple years ago, when i joined this site somebody told me i was not a revolver nut till i had a 41 mag and a 44 Special, Well when the box gets to the Hock shop near my home i am as loony as the rest of you. i have 2 .41 mags, and will soon have a 4.625 in Blue steel Bisley in 44 special. I am pretty excited about this, i ordered 200 starline cases too. As for loads i plan for 3, a light bullet load of say a 200 grain Jacketed HP for Predators and such , a Soft bullet load that will about duplicate the factory stuff, And a stiff load with a 240 grain cast, I will eventually have this one worked over by a top smith , and have a fine chunk of leather to pack it in...tj What kind of gun did you get? You didnt say Uberti Bisley .44 spl? .

Sorry. Reread the opening post and thought you meant you had bought a 4" 625 Smith & Wesson that would be in .45 colt, not .44 special. Now it finaly dawned on me you must have meant a Ruger! As long as I got in this deep, let me add, there is little practicable difference in shooting my pair of smiths shown in the last picture except the model 24 is lighter due to the pencil barrel and shorter cylinder. I also have the target hammer and trigger on the model 25. Just wanted to brace yourself when a .45 colt showed up instead of a .44 special. Glad I was wrong.
