Flat Top 357, birth year gun for me. Curious if anyone recognizes it, or who might have done the work? Millett rear sight, sits proud I'd like to replace it with a factory Micro sight. Will the ones from a recent flat top fit? Custom front sight, nice work Nice case hardening The Ivory micarta grips are tpp thick for me, any ideas on who would reshape them for me? Looks like a Ruger brass grip frame, I'd like to swap it onto my 44 flat top but both are well fitted to their frames so I'll probably leave them alone. It'll fit in well with my other birth year Rugers And will be a nice companion to my Winchester/Miroku 357

Very nice gun, but I don't recognize any big name smiths fingerprints on it.

January of 1960,, Schaweeeeeet.
Love me some MR3DB grip frames. That one, based on the flash cuts, looks like it was 71-72 Old Army and Special order Blackhawks. Not the word of God but looks very similar.
My earlier 66-67 castings had a bigger flash button at the top. I know Bill hated the fact that their was 3 scrap for every good one they received from there casting source. Sure would like to talk to someone now at Ruger that New for sure.
Very Nice.
Want one for any of your others, gimme a hollar!

I am glad someone here grabbed that one. I looked at it a number of times while it was listed.

I am glad someone here grabbed that one. I looked at it a number of times while it was listed. I was glad to get it. I’ve been wanting a flat top 357, and this one turned out to be from 1960, like me, I grabbed it. I thought it would go for a lot more. How’s Remington doing? My son is still in Missippi, still a T-6 instructor pilot, and a Major now. Jim

Remington is doing well and he left for Afghanistan this afternoon and his wife left for Afghanistan earlier this morning. Both are majors now and will serve as mission commanders this time so less flying this deployment. The son in law leaves for Iraq in a few weeks and too is a major who will serve as mission commander this trip as well.
Good to hear Cody is still doing well and safe.
Take care,
Robb

Well in my case, their mom has to get most of the credit. They all grew up pretty good in spite of me!

I emailed with him...he said he was still in business, just hadn't renewed with his host on the website. PM him and he'll get back with you.
