The thanks is for the grips. The apology is because I've sat on a fine pair of grips for over a year before sharing them with others. Now that the new house is done I can get back to participating. I'd received my bisley 45 hunter some time ago and they needed some grips pretty bad. The metal fit and finish on this gun is the best of any factory Ruger I've seen and the grips didn't come to that level so I asked Zane to change that, and boy howdy did he. I had my pick of two materials and decided on these big horn panels. That old saying about how do you carve an elephant out of a block of marble applies to gun grips I believe as well. Just carve away anything that doesn't look like the grips. Easy enough, huh? Right, not. He did a spectacular job of finding the grips in these panels, then fitting them to my frame and polishing them. Once again words and pictures fall short of stating the look and feel of these panels. They are fantastic. Thank you Zane and I'm sorry I didn't post these sooner.
