There is sort of a neat story behind these two Colt New Frontiers, both in .44 Special: In the spring of 2013 I had saved back enough money to bid on a Colt New Frontier on GunBroker. As I recall I had about $1500 put back. (No braggin', it was a long and hard save to get there.) A New Frontier, 5 1/2" .44 Special became available for around $1300. I contacted the seller, and I had two guns, each valued by me at $650. And he was interested in what I had, so we swapped even, then and there. Now, remember, I had gotten this .44 FREE, so still had my gun money. On the day my gun was to arrive at my gunsmith's shop, he being my FFL contact, I was out early that morning before the mail arrived. So, to kill time, I dropped by another gun shop. There, in the gun case, was a 7 1/2" New Frontier in .44 Special. Asking price was $990! Well, when I came home, my wife asked me "Have you picked up your gun?" "Well, not exactly," I told her, "Seems I got two instead." Somehow she doesn't understand a 'free gun." Bob Wright

Bob, how long did it take you to decide on that second gun ? I’m guessing about three and a half seconds !
