Hey guys how long has some of yall waited on bfr to arrive at yalls dealers. Just trying to get a idea. I had dealer order me a standard 5.5 in barrel with bislegrip in 500 linebaugh on Feb 12. Still no word also went back and had him order me a 480/475 bfr with a bisley grip wit 6 1/2 barrel around 1st of March to replace my ruger 480 my brother in law is buying from me. I know probably take a little longer than norm to get with all this virus cured happening . But what's some of the normally wait time . He ordered straight from magnum research.

Wow. No way I could wait that long. When I order guns, I find what I want with someone who has it in stock right then. Then ship it to a local FFL. One week tops.

Was talking to my dealer a couple of days ago and he says that Kahr, the parent company, is closed down due to the virus....so you may be waiting for a while.
A few months ago when I was thinking about getting one of that exact model there were several on GunBroker...have not checked lately however...

Wow. No way I could wait that long. When I order guns, I find what I want with someone who has it in stock right then. Then ship it to a local FFL. One week tops. If that bothers you I would suggest not ordering a revolver from Freedom Arms....you’ll wait even longer. LOL |

Oh, how this reminds me of a prior time. I just waited the better portion of three years for a sixgun to arrive. Magnum Research and Freedom Arms have some incredibly reasonable lead times.

FA was down to three months wait time from the 18 they were a few years ago...
Last I looked they also had guns available in most calibers... There are also a 100 of them out there for sale on GunBroker, GunsAmerica and GunAuction...

I would like one more...97/.327 4.25" Round Butt, fluted with black Micarta grips.
I know where one is...just haven't been able to justify it yet..

I just bought a new BFR today . It is ALMOST what I like but the barrel is to long .
So it will first go to a Smith to have the barrel cut to my liking . I was not going to spend 3 month ordering when I can have it in a week with a little work .
