Working from home, might as well carry a single action.

I'm in. Soon as I go from fleece pants(Bulldog in vest pocket) to jeans with belt,I'll dig out my Nm Vaq Sheriff 44 spec.. The shorter barreled version of the pic above.

What wrong with carrying a SA every other day?

Your EDC should be your E.D.C.. Not e.o.d.c.. Personal defense is not a game.

BuckElliot, your logic is spot on. I played with a tacticool crowd for some years. But I have always lived in a rural area. Truly, the threats I've dealt with in my 60 plus years are camp damaging porkies, grumpy rattlesnakes, rabid racoons, a bear or 3 and coyotes. Human threats were 2, and showing the will and means, they changed their minds. So what goes behind the belt here, may be subject to whimsical thoughts. During the course of this morning, forgot this thread, and the snubby M69 is belt bound and more than enough..

When and if I get my pants on my EDC is in the pocket as every day! My Boss the other day said we could carry at work if we want too. I found it unnecessary to tell him I already had mine there.

Personal defense is also personal. Some are proficient with more than one specific gun. Some aren't.
Me? It's questionable that I can shoot any gun well.
There are a few (but very few) times that I go somewhere that I must conceal. In those cases, my carry gun is a Bulldog in a pocket...but I'm certainly not limiting myself to a small gun when I have the option of carrying a bigger gun that I shoot better, but doesn't lend itself to concealability.

I'm putting the parts and pieces together for a real short barrel single six in 22mag. I've been doing so investigations on that caliber and the bullets available. Of course it will be a modified birdhead grip frame.
Bob Wright is that a recent picture of you? By the way that shovel is still leaning against that fence in the same place form a different picture of some time back.

Looks like he done wore the handle out on that shovel anyway,so he's letting it have a well deserved rest.

First thing I lay my hands on in the morning and the last thing I lay down at night is my Shield 9mm. Sometimes the Ruger 380 gets called on for summer wear. Other things get strapped on as needed.

I carry several different guns depending on what I am doing that day. Most of the time I am on the farm and a Old Model Ruger Single Six 5&1/2" in .22 Magnum is my companion, when deer season is in I swap it for a Ruger Bisley .41 Magnum. When I go to town a S&W Shield in 9mm is with me.
