Since buying a Ruger Bearcat I'm sort of infatuated with tiny revolvers. Now I love that little revolver, but its a rimfire, and I can't reload for it. I recently disposed of a Cimarron .38 Open Top Navy which was fun shooting except for its impossible sights.
Uberti has a revolver they call the Stallion which so far as I can tell is the same frame as my .22 Stallion but in .38 Special. I'm giving serious consideration to getting one of these. The Uberti model with 5 1/2" barrel looks like what I would like. Cimarron offers a similar model but it has a short ejector housing. The Cimarron models come with 3 1/2" barrel, and all models have the same ejector housing. Uberti's have a longer housing/assembly and think this is what I want.
Does anybody have any experience with this little .38? And how do you like it?

I have one of the discontinued Stallions in 38 Special. Mine is the Adjustable Sight Model like a small New Frontier.
Extremely well made and cylinder is plenty long.
Also have same gun in 32-20...

The 38 cut to 4" would be great!

I have a Lightning that I love but the sights suck. I would like to have some J frame sights installed on it. That would make it a lot better.
