Can anyone tell me anything about the 6 mm Medusa benchrest cartridge .270 neck what case is it based on?. Saw two bench guns in a local shop, with no dies or cases,no info. Also had a Hall mfg. model? E 133 it looks like a sleeved Remington action in .257 Banshee .280 neck. Barrel was marked R E McCluskey Seattle Wash. also had S. Kostanich stamped on barrel . Thanks

Hate it when dies get separated from a rifle like that. The dies were likely cut for that chamber specifically and may well be a one off.
Looks like you'd be in for a chamber cast and either have Whidden make you some dies or have the chamber reamed to something more common. Only a chamber cast will tell you what it can be rechambered to. At the least before you buy you can measure the twist rate to give yourself and idea of what might be possible.
A google search for the Medusa came up empty but a call to Dave Manson might get you some information.

Thanks for the reply. There was nothing I could find either on the web. Very unusual to see any kind of a bench gun around here, not a hotbed for then.
