i have a 91 argentine mauser(well, its on the way) and a 93 spanish mauser(1922 or 23) that was bubba-ed up(so bad ). i have a couple or several questions about them. 1. i like aperture sights (lyman, redfield, williams), esp vintage sights. is it possible to do a aperture on a 91 mauser? if it is, what kind? 2. what after market trigger(timney, jewell...) does a 91 argentine mauser fit on? 3. what after market trigger(timney, jewell...) does a 93 spanish mauser fit on? thanks for your time and effort!!!

Not sure about aperture sights; I'd recommend looking at Brownells to see what's available - maybe call their Tech Assist number. Your choice of triggers is going to be limited to Timney, Bold, and Dayton-Traister - if they're even still around. Forget about Jewell or any of the newer designs, as they're simply not offered for the old milsurp rifles.
ETA: Well, it looks like many but maybe not all of the Bold triggers are discontinued. Timney and New England Custom Guns offer triggers for Mausers, but I'm not certain that NECG makes a trigger for the earlier Mausers like your '91 and '93. Timney definitely offers triggers for virtually all Mausers. Dayton-Traister makes one that will work for your '93, but I don't think they offer one for the '91. Midway carries the NECG triggers, but they seem to be out of stock.
Huber Concepts offers a trigger for the '91 Mauser. They're fairly expensive for what they are, which is a trigger with a ball bearing inset into it and some adjusting screws, for about $100. I have briefly used one of their '98 Mauser triggers (which should also work with your '93), and it seemed to work okay. I don't have that rifle any longer, so I really don't have much experience with it.

I put a Lyman peep on my 96 Sweede, along with a Redfield Olympic globe front, The Lyman should work on your 91 -93 just fine.

I have a Huber concepts trigger in my 91. It takes a bit of adjustment but it is a good trigger. I have been impressed with the feel and quality of the trigger.
I have a redfield model 70 receiver sight on my 91 as well. It was drilled and tapped by a previous owner but it fits well. Redfield and I believe Lyman’s both made Mauser specific aperture sights. I have a spare around here somewhere that I have been meaning to sell if you have trouble finding a receiver sight.
My 91 was my first custom rifle. My father and I threaded an old Enfield barrel to match the receiver and chambered it in 7.65x53. The stock is a generic Boyd’s that I inletted for the 91. I believe Boyd’s sells preinletted stocks now.

i was given an old mauser redfield aperture sight and screws for free. it was mounted on a 98 mauser that needed scoped. i tried to pay for it, but he kept saying no. a dayton traister 93 mauser speed lock and trigger kit is on its way. if it goes well, then i'll order a 98 mauser trigger kit as well. next will be a huber concepts trigger in my 91 argentine. i like the boyd's stock but.......... i kinda like it same way it was bought fer.
