Anybody use titegroup for 44 special. What is your setup i am using a 255 gr Keith bullet over 5.6 grins of titegroup and a standard CCI 300 primer and star line cases. how does this compare to the skeeter load. i just loaded 50 of each. Won’t get to shoot until this weekend.

If I remember correctly, I loaded 5.4 grains under a 225 RFN. Accuracy was excellent. Shot these in my Cimarron SAA clone. Been loading a slightly stouter load using Power Pistol in my Rugers.

Interesting since my recent failure with my other loads. May I ask where you got your data from?

I’ll have to dig through my load data to find the source. I think max load was 6 grns

Just picked up a Ruger flattop bisley .44 special for my son. Think I’ll start right around 4.0 grains with a 240 LTC and go up from there and see what happens.

My Modern Reloading second edition manual shows 4.0 to 4.8 gr of titegroup under a 240 gr lead bullet
