On the gp-100 is no longer listed on his website! Hopefully it’s a glitch and not that he’s no longer offering the conversion.

On the gp-100 is no longer listed on his website! Hopefully it’s a glitch and not that he’s no longer offering the conversion. Talked to Dave in length and he is gearing down. Took a bunch of options off his website that he no longer offers. My opinion of the finest Revolver Smith that ever lived.

I guess I got lucky there in getting some of his last work of this type... this started out as a standard 4" 357 Magnum, & it is my 1st handgun purchased, so since I'm cutting back, & had 5-6 357's I decided to have it converted to 10mm Rimmed, barrel cut to 3" & slab sided, he also did an action job on it... I contracted the work about 8 -9 months ago...

I had heard he was getting ready to start slowing down so it doesn't surprise me to see his option list shrinking just like Hamiltons has. I know I've said it in the past but it looks like the ability to own pieces by many of these top tier guys is getting harder and harder as they move closer to retirement. I encourage anyone who has dreamed of a gun built by one of these guys to get off the fence, start shaking seat cushions for change and picking up pop cans and get in line while you still can.

I had a .41sp GP100 and it was a wonderful handgun and you could load it up as it's sturdy!
More and more are coming up for sale as used guns and actually the opportunity is greater than ever to get into one...
The drawback is getting exactly what you want.
I had a correspondence with David recently and feel it's appropriate for him to convey his plans to individuals personally.

Currently own three Clements Guns and waiting on two more. Both Blackhawks, a 38-40/10mm and a 44-40/44 Magnum.
I agree that the greats are slowing down. Will see how it plays out as to what happens next.
I should add that the first three were 327 Federals. Honestly, it's a wonder he didn't drop me for being stuck in a rut.
