I am less interested than I was at first. I have a NBH 4 5/8" convertable that only weight 35.5OZ so I don't see much need to add another one with the same barrel length and more weight. I have to admit the 4" barrel was a major selling point for me. The unfluted cylinders add to an all-business appearance but seems silly if you're wanting to reduce weight for carrying. Negates the slab side barrel. I do like it much better now and am glad I can change the front sight easily but really wish the barrel had been the advertised length. That's a vast improvement IMO CraigC. I've tried to like the Ruger birdshead grip...I WANT to like it. But it just feels lousy in my hand. Thanks! I think they look cool on something shorter than 4 5/8"(4¾") but I could only stand to shoot a couple cylinderfuls of .45ACP. It's just uncomfortable and the grips they provide with it are mucho sucky. Funny thing is I've had those buffalo horn grips for 20yrs and never found a good home for them, until now.
