Max, now that's funny! I think you like recoil even when you're eating cereal, but actually you're right it handles recoil very well. I knew velocity & recoil were up there but it was very easy to handle even with this powerful load. 1460 fps with a 243 gr bullet has some authority. I could tell from the muzzle lift.
Kim as far as looks I've always liked the plow handle best but once recoil gets up around 1100-1200 fps they can get pretty rough. All the other bisley styles seem about the same with a slight difference in each. With the FA grip I've noticed many people getting their grip too high & you can get rapped on the knuckles from the big calibers. This BFR gun has plenty of gap for big hands & the recoil is very easy to manage. This in only the second one I've ever handled but it's a very nice gun, easy to shoot with fine accuracy. I wish I had more time to work up another load but our weather is kicking my butt.
Most likely when my elk hunt starts it will be the Ruger 480 again & my 10.5" Ruger 44 with Keith 250 solids. This gun is scoped, I always carry 2 guns anymore just in case I have to stretch things out a bit. That bullet has 5 elk under it's belt, I've very confident in it with 21 grs of 2400.

I wasn't suggesting your load doesn't kick hard, just explaining to Kim that the Magnum Research iteration of the "Bisley" grip frame is really good for hard recoil despite its controversial looks. That load sounds like it should be very authoritative!
